The Softgrid (OCTA 3′) from Profoto is a crucial accessory for photographers looking for precise control over their lighting setup. Designed specifically for the 3′ Octa Softbox, the 50° Softgrid attaches securely with touch-fasteners. This feature makes setup quick and easy, giving you more time to focus on your shot.
The Softgrid narrows the beam spread, directing light exactly where you want it. As a result, it eliminates spill light, ensuring that your subject is illuminated without any unwanted light hitting the background or surrounding areas. This capability makes it perfect for creating dramatic lighting effects and highlighting specific details in your compositions.
When used with the Octa Softbox, the Softgrid enhances the light’s softness while also producing natural-looking catchlights in your subject’s eyes. This creates a lively, vibrant look in your portrait, fashion, or product photography, making your subject stand out beautifully.
